The guarantee
If the race is cancelled, our commission comes back too
When an organizer cancels, we refund every entry and Kursa returns its own share of the service fee (the 1.5%) as well. The only part that does not come back is the payment processor’s fee, which the processor returns to no one. We know of no other Spanish platform that does this: everywhere else the service fee stays with the platform even though the race never happened. You get to say that to your entrants on the day you have to break the bad news.

Questions about money
- Is there a monthly or annual subscription?
- No. No setup fee, no subscription, no minimums, no lock-in. In a year when you organize nothing, you pay nothing.
- When do I get the money?
- Every registration is paid straight into a payout account of your own, and the payment processor transfers it to your bank on its payout schedule, usually every business day. The money is not held at Kursa until after the race.
- Can I raise the service fee to fund the race?
- No. The service fee (3% + €0.25) is fixed and cannot be inflated: it is part of the promise we make to the runner. If you need more revenue, raise the entry price — that money is 100% yours.
- What if I need to refund one specific runner?
- You do it from the dashboard, in full or in part, under the cancellation policy you configure. The spot is released automatically.
- What about VAT?
- Kursa invoices its service fee to the runner. The tax treatment of the entry itself (VAT, non-profit exemptions, invoices to participants) is yours, exactly as it is today on any platform.
